1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit hiignite.com (the “Site”), a pre-launch information page for the upcoming hiignite platform. We have designed the Site to collect as little personal data as possible.
By using the Site you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.
2. Who we are
The Site is operated by Kenyro LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England & Wales, with its registered office at Office 6709, 58 Peregrine Road, Hainault, Ilford, Essex, United Kingdom, IG6 3SZ. Kenyro LTD is the data controller responsible for your personal data in connection with the Site.
For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
3. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies only to the hiignite.com website. It does not cover the hiignite application or product, which is not yet available. When the application launches, it will be governed by a separate, expanded privacy policy and terms that address user accounts, coach and client data, payments, and related processing.
4. Information we process
The Site does not require you to create an account or provide personal details to browse it. We process only the following:
- Approximate location (country), for language selection. On each visit, your browser requests a country code from a third-party service (ipapi.co). To do this, your IP address is sent to that service, which returns a two-letter country code. We use this only to display the Site in the appropriate language (Bosnian for Bosnia and Herzegovina, otherwise English). We do not store your IP address or country code on our own systems.
- Preferences stored on your device. We store two values in your browser’s local storage: your theme choice (light or dark) and your language. These remain on your device and are not transmitted to us.
- Fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts. To deliver them, Google may receive your IP address and basic technical information (such as your browser type). See section 8.
- Server and security logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, date and time, browser type, and the pages requested) for security, diagnostics, and to operate the Site.
5. What we do not do
We want to be clear about what does not happen on this Site:
- We do not use accounts or logins.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or behavioural profiling.
- We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
- The email sign-up (“waitlist”) fields shown on the Site are currently inactive and do not submit, send, or store anything. See section 10.
6. Cookies and local storage
We do not use cookies. We use a small amount of browser local storage for two strictly functional purposes only: remembering your theme and language preferences. Because this storage is strictly necessary to provide functionality you have chosen, and is not used for tracking or advertising, no cookie-consent banner is required. You can clear this storage at any time through your browser settings.
7. Legal bases for processing
Where the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR apply, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests — to display the Site in the correct language, deliver fonts, and keep the Site secure and functioning. Given the minimal data involved, we consider these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent — if and when the waitlist is activated and you choose to submit your email address (see section 10). You may withdraw consent at any time.
8. Service providers we share data with
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. A limited amount of technical data is necessarily received by the following service providers so the Site can function:
- ipapi.co — receives your IP address to return a country code for language selection. Please refer to ipapi.co’s privacy policy.
- Google (Google Fonts) — may receive your IP address and technical information to deliver fonts. Please refer to Google’s privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider — processes server logs on our behalf to host and secure the Site.
9. International data transfers
Some of the service providers above (including ipapi.co and Google) are located outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, and the limited technical data described in this Policy may be transferred internationally to them. Where this happens, those providers are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or applicable adequacy decisions) under their own terms.
10. The waitlist
The email sign-up fields shown on the Site are currently inactive and collect nothing. If we activate the waitlist in the future and you choose to submit your email address, we will use it solely to contact you about hiignite’s launch and early access, on the basis of your consent. We will not sell it or use it for unrelated marketing, and you will be able to unsubscribe or request deletion at any time by contacting us.
11. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary:
- Preferences in your browser’s local storage remain until you clear them.
- We do not retain your IP address or country code from the language check on our own systems.
- Server logs are kept for the limited period applied by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes.
- Any waitlist email (if activated) is kept until launch notification or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
12. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the UK GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and — for visitors in the EEA — the EU GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
Because we hold almost no personal data about visitors, in many cases we may have nothing on record to provide or delete. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk; in the EEA, your local data protection authority.
13. Children
The Site and the hiignite platform are intended for fitness professionals and adults, and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
14. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Site, including serving it over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and using a reputable hosting provider. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. When the hiignite application launches, a separate and more detailed privacy policy will apply to it. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
16. Contact us
