Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit hiignite.com (the “Site”), the information site for the hiignite platform. We have designed the Site to collect as little personal data as possible.

By using the Site you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

The Site is operated by Kenyro LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England & Wales, with its registered office at Office 6709, 58 Peregrine Road, Hainault, Ilford, Essex, United Kingdom, IG6 3SZ. Kenyro LTD is the data controller responsible for your personal data in connection with the Site.

This Policy applies only to the hiignite.com website. It does not cover the hiignite application at trainer.hiignite.com, which is live and governed by its own privacy policy and terms, addressing user accounts, coach and client data, payments, and related processing.

No payment data is collected by, or passes through, this Site. Inside the application, client payments are taken through the coach’s own Stripe account under that coach’s own agreement with Stripe; Kenyro LTD does not receive, hold, or process client funds.

The Site does not require you to create an account or provide personal details to browse it. We process only the following:

• Your browser’s time zone and language settings, for language and currency selection. The Site reads the time zone and the preferred languages your browser already reports (for example, Europe/Sarajevo, or pt-BR) to choose which language and currency to display. This is read on your device only: no request is made to any location service, and your IP address is not sent anywhere for this purpose.
• Preferences stored on your device. We store two values in your browser’s local storage: your theme choice (light or dark), and your language choice, which is saved only when you click one of the language links. Both remain on your device and neither is transmitted to us.
• Fonts. Fonts are served from our own domain, so no third-party font service receives your IP address.
• Anonymous usage analytics. We run our own analytics (Umami), self-hosted on our infrastructure — no third-party analytics company is involved. It records which pages are viewed, the referring page, and your browser, operating system, device type, and country. It sets no cookies, does not identify you, and does not track you across other websites. As with any web request, our analytics server receives your IP address in order to answer it and to derive the country.
• Server and security logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, date and time, browser type, and the pages requested) for security, diagnostics, and to operate the Site.

We want to be clear about what does not happen on this Site:

• We do not use accounts or logins on this Site — creating a hiignite account happens on the application, which has its own privacy policy.
• We do not use advertising, tracking pixels, or behavioural profiling.
• We do not use any third-party analytics service, and we do not track you across other websites. Our own cookie-free analytics is described in section 4.
• We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
• We do not require an email address to read anything here. The newsletter sign-up is optional; see section 10.

We do not use cookies. We use a small amount of browser local storage for strictly functional purposes only: remembering your theme preference (light or dark) and, if you have chosen one, your language preference. Because this storage is strictly necessary to provide functionality you have chosen, and is not used for tracking or advertising, no cookie-consent banner is required. You can clear this storage at any time through your browser settings.

Where the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR apply, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interests — to display the Site in the correct language and currency, keep the Site secure and functioning, and understand how the Site is used through our own cookie-free analytics. Given the minimal data involved, we consider these interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Consent — if you choose to submit your email address to the newsletter (see section 10). You may withdraw consent at any time.

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. A limited amount of technical data is necessarily received by the following service providers so the Site can function:

• Our hosting provider — processes server logs on our behalf to host and secure the Site.

Language selection is decided on your device, fonts are served from our own domain, and analytics runs on our own self-hosted instance, so no third-party location, font, or analytics service receives your IP address when you browse the Site.

Some of the service providers above may be located outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, and the limited technical data described in this Policy may be transferred internationally to them. Where this happens, those providers are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or applicable adequacy decisions) under their own terms.

The Site offers an optional newsletter. If you choose to submit your email address, we store it and use it solely to send you occasional product updates about hiignite, on the basis of your consent. We will not sell it or use it for unrelated marketing, and you can unsubscribe or request deletion at any time by contacting us. Submitting the form also sends a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string, which we keep to detect automated abuse of the form.

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary:

• Preferences in your browser’s local storage remain until you clear them.
• The language and currency choice is made in your browser from its own time zone and is never sent to us, so there is nothing for us to retain.
• Analytics records are anonymous and contain nothing that identifies you.
• Server logs are kept for the limited period applied by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes.
• A newsletter email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Subject to applicable law (including the UK GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and — for visitors in the EEA — the EU GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@hiignite.com.

Because we hold almost no personal data about visitors, in many cases we may have nothing on record to provide or delete. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk; in the EEA, your local data protection authority.

The Site and the hiignite platform are intended for fitness professionals and adults, and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Site, including serving it over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and using a reputable hosting provider. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The hiignite application has its own, more detailed privacy policy, which applies to your account and the data in it. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
